SAGE Scholars Program, University of California, Berkeley

The SAGE (Student Achievement Guided by Experience) Scholars program, housed in the Division of Equity & Inclusion at the University of California, Berkeley, provides training and real-world experience to low-income, high-achieving undergraduates.

MY WORK

Development transition consulting:

In fall of 2014, I worked with the interim director and leadership advisory board to assess fundraising capacity and recommend development strategies in support of a new development plan.

IMPACT

“I sensed from our various conversations that you would be perfect for analyzing the SAGE Scholars program and that your depth of experience and knowledge of nonprofit development would provide extremely valuable advice and guidance. Your report and presentation exceeded all of our expectations. Your work is simply outstanding – the best I’ve seen in any nonprofit organization.”
