Mesa Refuge is a writer’s retreat in West Marin that offers scholarships to writers concerned with economics, environment and the creation of a just and sustainable world a unique place to be creative and focused on a book project. Past residents have included Michael Pollan, Terry Tempest Williams, Rebecca Solnit and hundreds more.
MY WORK
Development transition consulting:
In 2013 I worked with the Mesa Refuge board of directors to support fundraising capacity building, develop funding strategies, and to develop a new fundraising database to support a major transition for the organization. I also created donor communication materials including a new brochure, grant proposal template and email newsletter.
