Women rising to leadership
How can we solve tough environmental and social problems if women continue to be underrepresented in leadership positions in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors? How can we change this reality?
In June, the Women’s Environmental Network (WEN) organized a groundbreaking event on how women can rise to leadership roles in the environmental sector. The topic resonated widely. More than 100 participants came out to the Impact Hub San Francisco to hear from our three esteemed panelists:
- Savanna Ferguson, California Environmental Associates
- Francesca Vietor, The San Francisco Foundation
- Lisa Feldman, UC Berkeley College of Natural Resources
My fellow WEN board member, Paige Miller, wrote an outstanding blog post to recap the evening. Visit Paige’s post on the WEN blog.
